Here goes...
As an interior designer, it was quite an honor to be the centerfold in "Madison Magazine" in Wisconsin..I did tell my husband I had always wanted to be in a centerfold, but didn't think it would be as a house.
As a photo stylist (primarily for Graber Blinds), they would be thrilled, when I did new construction, and brought them in to do "on sight" shoots. I have done many set designs, but loved doing the homes...The owners got the blinds, the photographer got the shoot, Graber got the photos, and I got the work...very nice...
Rather than go on-and-on, I think it's best just to show the picture, rather than ramble on (the thousand words thing)....if the subject matter changes...I'll ramble some more.
I love working with styling sets...the Art Director gives me the "vision", and I get to go shopping, set the sets, tear down the sets, etc....
The "magic" of sets is that they can be flipped, as in the shot below..two walls, three windows, same product shown very differently...also, the photographer photo shopped the view from the windows...
This is exactly the same set, only flipped...I glazed the walls and layed in different flooring....viola..a penthouse apartment.
All Sets
Okay, I lied...this image was my client's powder room..it was in the home shown on the magazine...sorry.
My Gallery of the 12 Parade Homes I did, along with a few private residences....
